WHEREAS, the Nanjing Jin Ling Elementary School is a respected school
in China with an excellent performing arts group; and
WHEREAS, the students are well-trained in Chinese and western
performing arts such as Kun Opera, folk dance and piano
performance; and
WHEREAS, this performing arts group has won numerous awards for the
Nanjing Jin Ling Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, the group is being showcased for their talent and cultural
exchange in the 2016 Northern California Chinese Youth Arts
Festival.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do
hereby commend and recognize the
Nanjing Jin Ling Elementary School
for the outstanding educational and entertainment value you provide to your
students, performance attendees and the overall education industry.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the
City of Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, August Thirteenth, Two Thousand
and Sixteen.
