WHEREAS, the City of Cupertino whole-heartedly welcomes the Force Adidas Premier
Tournament to Cupertino from July Twenty -Second through Twenty -
Fourth, Two Thousand and Sixteen; and
WHEREAS, the Force Adidas Premier Tournament is celebrating its 4th year since its
inception in Two Thousand and Thirteen; and
WHEREAS, over 100 soccer teams participate in friendly competition on multiple fields
in the Cupertino area; and
WHEREAS, we recognize that soccer benefits athletes in multiple ways, including
promoting good health, teamwork, dedication and an overall sense of
positive well-being.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do hereby
commend and recognize the
EorceAdaas premier Tournament
in celebration and appreciation for providing residents of Cupertino the remarkable
opportunity of engaging in competition and participating as supporters of athletes that
provide an example of promoting a healthy lifestyle.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Friday, July Twenty -Second, Two Thousand and Sixteen.
