WHEREAS, on Saturday, October Fourteenth, Two Thousand and Seventeen, the
City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the Cupertino Tournament of Bands; and
WHEREAS, this is the 47th Annual Cupertino High School Tournament of Bands;
and
WHEREAS, they will have an excellent field of competitors participating,
including the host, Cupertino High School; and
WHEREAS, the Tournament of Bands brings together the finest high school bands
and drill teams in Northern California; and
WHEREAS, it is definitely an honor to have this inspiring event in Cupertino each
year; and
WHEREAS, this tournament raises funds for music programs in the high school
district.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do
hereby recognize the
Cupertino Tournament of Bands
and thank all the participants and volunteers for creating a better community
through its active participation and charitable contributions to the people and City
of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the
City of Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, October Fourteenth, Two Thousand
and Seventeen.
