WHEREAS, on Sunday, November Nineteenth, Two Thousand and Seventeen, the
City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the California Cricket Academy; and
WHEREAS, the California Cricket Academy is the first organization for children
from six to fifteen years in the USA; and
WHEREAS, the Academy has been an integral part of United States of America
Cricket Association youth initiatives for the last fifteen years, training more than
200 boys and girls each year; and
WHEREAS, the Academy has organized national tournaments with teams from
various parts of the country visiting Cupertino to play cricket; and
WHEREAS, the Academy has contributed immensely toward the development of
young boys and girls in the community.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do
hereby recognize the
California Cricket Academy
and the many dedicated supporters and participants who have worked so hard to
make this academy a success.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the
City of Cupertino to be affixed this Sunday, November Nineteenth, Two
Thousand and Seventeen.
