PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, Bethel Lutheran Church & School has achieved Santa Clara County Green
Business Certification and demonstrated exemplary commitment to protecting our
environment, conserving natural resources, and enhancing the quality of life for all
members of our community; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Green Business Program distinguishes local
organizations that adopt environmentally sound practices that conserve energy and water,
promote effective materials management, encourage transportation alternatives, protect
indoor and outdoor air quality, and prevent pollution; and
WHEREAS, by becoming a certified Santa Clara County Green Business, Bethel
Lutheran Church & School serves as a community leader by connecting business health to
the greater environmental health of the community of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, because of its excellent environmental record through the Santa Clara
County Green Business Program, Bethel Lutheran Church & School is officially
recognized by the GreenBiz Cupertino Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do
hereby congratulate and commend
Bethel Lutheran Church & School
for achieving Green Business Certification in our community and for its continuing
commitment to protect and enhance the quality of life for all residents of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Sixteenth day of May, Two Thousand and Seventeen.
