WHEREAS, on Friday, February Tenth, Two Thousand and Seventeen, the City of
Cupertino wishes to recognize the Asian American Business Council for
presenting the 2017 Cupertino Chamber of Commerce Bridge Award to an
organization or individual for helping to build trust, respect and dialogue within
the multi-ethnic and multi-cultural Cupertino business community; and
WHEREAS, the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit business and
community advocacy organization with members that employ more than 25,000
people.; and
WHEREAS, the Chamber collaborates with education, private industry, and
government to assist and strengthen local business to enhance the high quality of
life for which Cupertino is known; and
WHEREAS, the Asian American Business Council recognizes Gilbert Wong for
having served with numerous public and private organizations and groups that
have helped promoted dialogue across all ethinc and cultural groups in the
Cupertino business community.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and City Council of Cupertino, do
hereby recognize and thank
Gilbert Wong
for his outstanding job in promoting trust, respect and dialogue within the
multi-ethnic and multi-cultural Cupertino business community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the
City of Cupertino to be affixed this Friday, February Tenth, Two Thousand and
Seventeen.
