HomeMy WebLinkAbout047 Toyokawa Proclamations - pdf - 04.28.2018 Proclamation WHEREAS, Toyokawa has been a sister city with Cupertino for 40 years and since then the international exchange of students has preserved and promoted the sharing between these two communities; and WHEREAS, City Committee to represent the City of Cupertino while on an official visit to Toyokawa; and WHEREAS, and Toyokawa, Abby Saavedra will add to the tapestry that binds the homes and hearts of these two communities. THEREFORE, I, Mayor Darcy Paul, and the City Council do hereby recognize Abby Saavedra and urge all residents to celebrate and acknowledge his commitment to serve as a representative of the people, community, and the City of Cupertino as part of the 2018 Toyokawa Sister City Delegation.
