Proclamation
WHEREAS, West Valley Community Services (WVCS) is proud to present the
9th Annual Chefs of Compassion: Cooking for a Cause Dining event
on Friday, September Twentieth at the Computer History Museum
in Mountain View, California; and
WHEREAS,
homelessness in the West Valley; and
WHEREAS,
dining event that challenges well-known chefs in Silicon Valley to
prepare a four-course dinner with ingredients found solely from
WVCS’ food pantry; and
WHEREAS,
Judy and Bill Wilson for their tireless efforts to assist those in need
in our community, and for their countless hours of volunteer work
dedicated towards improving housing issues, food security issues,
and civil rights.
THEREFORE,
hereby issue this proclamation to honor
Judy and Bill Wilson
and proclaim our deep appreciation for their leadership and support of WVCS, and for their
commitment to the betterment of our community, our city, and our region.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Friday, September Twentieth, Two Thousand and Nineteen.
