HomeMy WebLinkAbout047 Toyokawa Delegation Proclamation - word - 04.27.2019 Proclamation WHEREAS, Toyokawa has been a Sister City with Cupertino for 41 years and since then the international exchange of students has preserved and promoted the sharing between these two communities; and WHEREAS, City Committee to represent the City of Cupertino while on an official visit to Toyokawa; and WHEREAS, and Toyokawa, Pauline Chin-Wong will add to the tapestry that binds the homes and hearts of these two communities. THEREFORE, I, Mayor Steven M. Scharf, and the City Council do hereby recognize Pauline Chin-Wong and urge all residents to celebrate and acknowledge her commitment to serve as a representative of the people, community, and the City of Cupertino as part of the 2019 Toyokawa Sister City Delegation. IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Saturday, April Twenty-Seventh, Two Thousand and Nineteen. ___________________________ Steven M.
