Proclamation
WHEREAS, The Santa Clara Valley Science and Engineering Fair Association,
educators, judges, and a host of dedicated volunteers will host the
Synopsys Silicon Valley Science and Engineering Championship,
an exciting Science and Engineering Fair, the 13th and 14th of March
2019; and
WHEREAS,
Engineering Fair Association was founded to encourage students
to discover the wonders of science and engineering, and reward
them for their work; and
WHEREAS,
our young people, their parents, teachers, and the communities of
Santa Clara County to stimulate interest in the various aspects of
the sciences and engineering; and
WHEREAS,
and engineering by setting aside a time for creative participation
on the part of all interested students,
THEREFORE,
hereby acknowledge the week of March 11th as
Science Fair Week
within our City and hereby urge all residents, particularly young people, to take part in the
observation of this inspiring and rewarding event.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Monday, March Eleventh, Two Thousand and Nineteen.
