Proclamation
WHEREAS, On Friday, February Eighth, Two Thousand and Nineteen, the
Cupertino Chamber of Commerce hosts its Annual Lunar New
Year Luncheon; and
WHEREAS,
Bridge Awards to individuals and organizations that have stepped
forward to promote greater understanding between the various
cultural and ethnic groups in our community; and
WHEREAS,
Award for Outstanding Business of the Year; and
WHEREAS,
centered experience for children founded on hands-on activities,
access to technology, parent involvement, school preparation, and
character education; and
WHEREAS,
Commerce to thank the Kiddie Academy for its work to provide a
quality education for children.
THEREFORE,
hereby acknowledge
Kiddie Academy
for receiving the Bridge Award for Outstanding Business of the Year and for its dedication
to providing a quality education for children.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Friday, February Eighth, Two Thousand and Nineteen.

Cupertino Chamber of Commerce hosts its Annual Lunar New
Year Luncheon; and
WHEREAS,
Bridge Awards to individuals and organizations that have stepped
forward to promote greater understanding between the various
cultural and ethnic groups in our community; and
WHEREAS,
the Bridge Award for Organization of the Year; and
WHEREAS,
performed traditional and modern Chinese dance routines at
events for free throughout the community and region; and
WHEREAS,
Commerce to thank Feathers in the Wind Dance Troupe for its
dedication to performing throughout the community.
THEREFORE,
hereby acknowledge
Feathers in the Wind Dance Troupe
for receiving the Bridge Award for Organization of the Year and for its commitment to
Chinese cultural dance and performing throughout the community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of

Individual Service; and
WHEREAS,
that occur in our city, along with being a member and officer in
Quota International of Cupertino, a former member of the West
Valley Community Service Board, and a former member of the
Fremont Union High School Board of education; and
WHEREAS,
Commerce to thank Barbara Nunes for serving as a catalyst to
promote dialogue and innovation across organizations and
cultural groups in Cupertino.
THEREFORE,
hereby acknowledge
Barbara Nunes
for receiving the Bridge Award for Individual Service and for her outstanding
accomplishments and service to the community.
