Proclamation
WHEREAS, The City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Citizen Corps Volunteer
Allan Gontang; and
WHEREAS,
community as a member of the Cupertino Amateur Radio
Emergency Service (CARES); and
WHEREAS,
policies, processes, and tools that City emergency communications
responders would train on and use in the event a disaster hits the
City of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS,
developing effective CARES members, and leadership with the
City’s annual public service events has earned him the deepest
respect from his community, partners, and fellow Citizen Corps
Volunteers; and
WHEREAS,
Santa Clara County Emergency Communications organization has
made Allan an invaluable resource, outstanding mentor, and true
leader within Cupertino Amateur Radio Emergency Service.
THEREFORE,
hereby congratulate and proclaim
Allan Gontang
as an outstanding Volunteer of the City of Cupertino, and commend him for his many
years of excellent service to our community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, April Sixteenth, Two Thousand and Nineteen.
