Proclamation
WHEREAS, On Friday, April Twenty-sixth, Two Thousand and Nineteen, the
Cupertino Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual STAR
Awards at a gala banquet at the Cupertino Hotel; and
WHEREAS,
Cupertino-Toyokawa Sister Cities Association; and
WHEREAS,
coordinating a student exchange program for middle-schoolers and
organizing the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.
THEREFORE,
acknowledge the
Cupertino-Toyokawa Sister Cities Association
for promoting an understanding of Japanese culture and heritage, and for their many
contributions to the community.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Friday, April Twenty-sixth, Two Thousand and Nineteen.

Education Committee Chairman for the Chamber of Commerce, and
as an advisor and career coach.

for his many notable achievements, and providing his leadership and problem-solving skills
to serve members of the community.

responsibility, participating in numerous organizations throughout
the City, such as the Planning Commission, Historical Society and
Museum, Rotary Club,
Affairs, Asian American for Good Government, and many more.
THEREFORE, I, Steven M. Scharf, and the Cupertino City Council do hereby
acknowledge
Don Sun
for all of his contributions to democracy and dedication to serve the Cupertino community.

for his outstanding contributions to local organizations, and for his leadership role in making
