Proclamation
WHEREAS, The City of Cupertino wishes to recognize Maria Delgado-Jimenez
on the occasion of her retirement for thirty-five years of faithful
and professional service to the City of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS,
implementing the Public Agency Retirement Services (PARS) plan,
saving the City over seventy thousand dollars in the first year; and
WHEREAS,
wellness, recreational and professional development opportunities
such as the BEST Training program, Wellness program, Rec Bucks
benefit, and Brown Bag workshops while in the Human Resources
Division; and
WHEREAS,
public service with thirty-five years of providing exemplary
services, serving five-years in the Community Development
Department, five-years in the City Manager’s Office and twenty-
five years in the Human Resources Division under the
Administrative Services Department; and
WHEREAS,
Human Resources Manager Maria Delgado-Jimenez, and wishes
her continued success in her retirement and future endeavors; and
THEREFORE,
hereby acknowledge and honor
Maria Delgado-Jimenez
for her dedication and commitment to the City of Cupertino and congratulate her on the
occasion of her retirement from the City of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, February Fourth, Two Thousand and Twenty.
