Proclamation
WHEREAS, Jing Jing Yang is embarking into this new role, where highlighting
poetry will be her goal; and
WHEREAS,
landed her in the first-place position; and
WHEREAS,
joy, others leave you in tears; and
WHEREAS,
plenty of haikus and rhyme; and
WHEREAS,
our community down many new roads; and
WHEREAS,
my office, I hereby bestow it.
THEREFORE,
hereby recognize
Jing Jing Yang
for outstanding public service as Poet Laureate.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, February Eighteenth, Two Thousand and Twenty.
