Proclamation
WHEREAS, Longevity of life is a blessing for an individual, their loved ones,
and the community which benefits from the knowledge, wisdom,
and experience this individual brings; and
WHEREAS,
Nichol Harrah in turning 100 years old this year, and wishes to
thank Mr. Harrah for his commitment and dedication to Cupertino
and our country; and
WHEREAS,
active in our community since 1964, volunteering at the Cupertino
Senior Center for the past 30 years, and is also the recipient of
service awards from the City; and
WHEREAS,
Cupertino with gratitude and admiration; and
WHEREAS,
link to our history, they are also valued members of our
community who display endurance, spirit, and inspiration to those
around them and deserve recognition and honor.
THEREFORE,
hereby acknowledge and congratulate
James Nichol Harrah
for his 100th birthday and give our sincere appreciation for his service to our country and
the City of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, December Eighth, Two Thousand and Twenty.
