WHEREAS, The City of Cupertino wishes to recognize the Silicon Valley Clean
Energy Authority (SVCEA) on the occasion of its fifth anniversary;
WHEREAS,
local Silicon Valley communities to have greener homes and
businesses, more renewable power, and reliable service at
competitive rates;
WHEREAS,
and continue working together to provide clean energy choices for
our community and ensuring local control of decision-making to
directly benefit our residents;
WHEREAS,
cutting carbon and other emissions, accelerating the adoption of
innovative electric technologies, and reinvesting into our
communities locally through clean energy programs, grants,
scholarships, and more;
WHEREAS,
residents and businesses with clean energy choices and offering
services to better our environment and future.
THEREFORE,
Proclaim its recognition of the
Silicon Valley
Clean Energy Authority
and recognize the contributions that SVCEA makes for our environment, comfort, and
needs of our residents and businesses in the City of Cupertino.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of
Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, May Seventeenth, Two Thousand and Twenty Two.
