I am delighted to extend my congratulations on your election to mayor of Hsinchu City.
Your commitment to your community is admirable, and I hope that we have an opportunity
to work together in the future to benefit our two communities.
Our two cities began a relationship in 1998, and officially became sister cities in 2007.
Cupertino and Hsinchu City share many values, including educational and cultural
exchanges. I am proud to continue the friendship with Hsinchu and look forward to
building upon the relationship our two cities have.
