Proclamation
WHEREAS,
the Cupertino Public Library will expanding its open hours to 72 hours per week with the addition of six new operating hours; and
WHEREAS,
this new extended schedule begins on Friday, June 1, 2018, and comes on the heels of expanded hours at four other Santa Clara County Library District libraries; and
WHEREAS,
these expanded hours will be offered on Friday evenings, and on Saturdays and Sundays to accommodate the residents of Cupertino.
THEREFORE,
I, Mayor Darcy Paul, and the Cupertino City Council do hereby Proclaim our appreciation to the
Cupertino Public Library
in the City of Cupertino, and all people and civic organizations are encouraged to become familiar with the many services the Cupertino Public Library provides to promote knowledge,
ideas, and cultural enrichment.
IN WITNESS THEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the City of Cupertino to be affixed this Tuesday, September 18, Two Thousand and Eighteen.
