HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 0381HC -51,148,1 RESOLUTION NO. 381 OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO recommending approval of site, architecture and landscaping for Gemco store as indicated on Exhibits A, B, C and C -l. PROPERTY OWNER: Sutro G.H.L. Realty Funds c/o Horth & Lawless Properties APPLICANT: Lucky Stores, Inc. (Gemco) ADDRESS: 1701 Marian Boulevard, San Leandro, California 94577 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: 20745 Stevens Creek Boulevard ZONE: CG (General Commercial) FIRE ZONE: 2 Conditions: 1-7. Architectural and Site Approval Standard Conditions. 8. That a five (5) ft. planter strip be added along the full length of the Saich Way frontage and that the landscaping be consistent with the remainder of the project. 9. That the planter on Stevens Creek Boulevard in front of the service station be increased to twelve (12) ft. and that the landscaping be consistent with the remainder of the project. 10. That the 45 degree parking adjacent Stevens Creek Boulevard be installed as proposed but be subject to review by the staff. If the site traffic .:.'circulation system proves to be unworkable because of ttie narrow turning radius at the southerly end of the aisles, the staff may require the applicant to modify the parking plan by changing the 45 degree parking spaces to parallel parking spaces or change the parking aisles to a one-way loop system. 11. That the parking along Bandley Drive be reversed in direction so that the aisle farthest east shall be directed north and the next aisle adjacent to it shall head south. 12. That the service station be cleaned and painted to match the new facade of the Gemco store. 13. That the applicant present a roof equipment screening plan that will meet the satisfaction of the staff. 14. That a survey of the street trees be made and the trees be replaced where necessary. 15, That the landscaping on Stevens Creek Boulevard include 2 - 4 ft. high mounds 8 ft. in back of the property line in order to provide for a future bike path. -2- Resolution No. 381 (continued) 9. That a lighting plan for the outside of the building be submitted to the staff for approval. 10. That the Raphiolepsis plants be changed to Pittosporum Tobira, or some other evergreen shrub that grows to a height of 6 ft., along the 5 ft. planter on Bandley Drive and the new 5 ft. planter on Saich Way.
