RESOLUTION NO. 376
A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY
OF CUPERTINO
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted an application requesting approval of
a sign plan for a commercial building with exhibits regarding the property
as indicated:
PROPERTY OWNER: Mr. Charron
APPLICANT: Karpet King, Inc. (Bruno Bicocca)
ADDRESS: 764 Emory Avenue, Campbell, California
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Northeast corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Randy Lane
ZONE: CG (General Commercial)
FIRE ZONE: 2
WHEREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Committee has reviewed the
application with regard to the areas of aesthetics and site plan,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS approval of the sign
plan subject to H -Control Standard Conditions and as indicated on Exhibits
F and F-1 and subject to the following additional conditions:
1. That the existing sign on the front of the building be
modified so that the red background of the sign is
painted a color to match the color of the existing
parapet. The yellow lettering with the black border
is to remain.
2. That the "linoleum, wallpaper and drapery" sign on the
canopy fascia is to be eliminated.
All conditions outlined herein are subject to the approval of the City Council
and their action is required for final approval of this application.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of March, 1974, at a regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Committee Members: Dressler, Koenitzer, Sallan, Weinstein, McLaren
