RESOLUTION NO. 375
A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE AF,pROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY
OF CUPERTINO
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted an application requesting exception to
Section 7.021 of the Sign Ordinance to allow an advertising area in excess
of the allotted square footage for an existing restaurant with exhibits
regarding the property as indicated.

ADDRESS: 19930 Stevens Creek Boulevard, Cupertino, California 95014
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: South side of Stevens Creek Boulevard approximately
200 ft. easterly of Blaney Avenue
ZONE: CG (General Commercial)
FIRE ZONE: 2
WHEREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Committee has reviewed the
application with regard to the areas of aesthetics and site plan,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS denial of the sign
exception due to the following findings:
1. That the application for a sign exception does not satisfy the
criteria specified in Section 10.4 of Ordinance 353.
The Committee further recommends that the applicant explore an alternative
design to incorporate a smaller boat logo with a new sign that satisfies
the ordinance requirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 1974, at a regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
