HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 0369HC -51,230.10 RESOLUTION NO. 369 A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted an application requesting approval of a sign plan and modification of architecture for a commercial building with exhibits regarding the property as indicated: PROPERTY OWNER: Payless Drug Stores APPLICANT: Fashion Fabrics (Farn Reed) ADDRESS: 8000 Edgewater Drive, Oakland, California 94621 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southwest corner of Homestead Road and Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road ZONE: CG (General Commercial) FIRE ZONE: 2 WHEREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Commitee has reviewed the application with regard to the areas of aesthetics and site plan, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS approval of the sign plan and modification of architecture subject to H -Control Standard Conditions and as indicated on Exhibit F and subject to the following additional conditions: 1. That the approval of this sign plan is subject to approval of the building modification by the Building Department. 2. That the color of the letters of the proposed sign be changed from red to white and that the maximum letter size be three (3) feet high. Total length of the sign is not to exceed thirty (30) feet and therefore the area of the sign is not to exceed ninety (90 square feet. All conditions outlined herein are subject to the approval of the City Council and their action is required for final approval of this application. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February, 1974, at a regular meeting of the Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the following roll call vote: AYES: Committee Members: Dressler, Weinstein, Koenitzer NAYS: " " None ABSTAINING: " " None ABSENT: " " McLaren, Sallan ATTEST: Robert S.
