RESOLUTION NO. 368
A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY
OF CUPERTINO
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted an application requesting approval of site,
architecture, lighting and modification of landscaping for an addition to an
existing substation with exhibits regarding the property as indicated:
PROPERTY OWNER: Pacific Gas and Electric Company
APPLICANT: Pacific Gas and Electric Company
ADDRESS: 20065 Stevens Creek Boulevard, Cupertino, California
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Southeast corner of Blaney Avenue and Homestead Road
ZONE: ML (Light Industrial)
FIRE ZONE: 2
WHEREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Committee has reviewed the
application with regard to the areas of aesthetics and site plan.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS approval of site and
architecture subject to H -Control Standard Conditions and as indicated on
Exhibits A, B and B-1 and subject to the following additional conditions:
1. That the applicant return within sixty (60) days with the
recommended changes in the lighting plan for the facility.
2. That if the applicant chooses not to install lighting that they
submit a statement as to why lighting is not necessary.
3. That the applicant submit a revised landscaping plan within sixty
(60) days with respect to the landscaping along the eastern and
southern boundary of the property. The Committee is specifically
concerned with the effectiveness of the screening relative to -the
substation site.
All conditions outlined herein are subject to the approval of the City Council
and their action is required for final approval of this application.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of February, 1974, at a regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
