HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 0361HC -51,259.8 RESOLUTION NO. 361 A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted an application requesting approval of site and architecture for a commercial building with exhibits regarding the property as indicated: PROPERTY OWNER: George K. Yamaoka APPLICANT: Edwin J. Myers ADDRESS: 10601 South Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road, Cupertino, California 95014 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Northeast corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Portal Avenue ZONE: CG (General Commercial) FIRE ZONE: 2 WHEREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Committee has reviewed the application with regard to the areas of aesthetics and site plan, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS approval of site and architecture subject to H -Control Standard Conditions and as indicated on Exhibits A and B and subject to the following conditions: 1. That the east parapet addition be extended to the rear of the building. 2. That the glass panel on the southern elevation of the storage enclosure wall be replaced by wood or masonry. 3. That traffic direction arrows be included in the striping of the parking lot. 4. That the approval of site and architecture does not include the bank. 5. That in the event that the bank is not approved within one year that the twelve (12) ft. landscaping strip on Stevens Creek Boulevard be extended easterly to the eastern property line. All conditions outlined herein are subject to the approval of the City Council and their action is required for final approval of this application.
