RESOLUTION NO. 355
A RESOLUTION OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE APPROVAL COMMITTEE OF THE CITY
OF CUPERTINO
WHEREAS, the applicant has submitted an application requesting approval of a
sign plan for a commercial building with exhibits regarding the property as
indicated:
PROPERTY OWNER: Steven Dorcich
APPLICANT: Sign Designs, Inc. (Care -Free #1 Wash & Dry)
ADDRESS: P.O. Box 4590, Modesto, California 95352
LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Northeast corner of Blaney Avenue and Stevens Creek
Boulevard in the Boulevard Shopping Center
ZONE: CG (General Commercial)
FIRE ZONE: 2
WHEREAS, the Architectural and Site Approval Committee has reviewed the
application with regard to the areas of aesthetics and site plan,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDS approval of the
sign plan subject to H -Control Standard Conditions and as indicated on Exhibits
F, F -1, F-2 and subject to the following conditions:
1. That the cartoon be eliminated and the size of the sign be reduced
by approximately three (3) feet.
2. That the colors for "Carefree" be changed to the two blue colors
as used in "Wash & Dry".
3. That a matting technique be used to limit the glossiness of the
letters.
All conditions outlined herein are subject to the approval of the City Council
and their action is required for final approval of this application.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of January, 1974, at a regular meeting of the
Architectural and Site Approval Committee of the City of Cupertino, State of
California, by the following roll call vote:
