CITY OF CUPERTINO recommending denial of a sign exception to allow a ground sign in addition to two wall signs and to allow a ground sign on a lot with less than two hundred ten (210) ft. of linear frontage for a bank facility for the following reasons: PROPERTY OWNER: Pacific Southwest Realty Company (Security Pacific National Bank) APPLICANT: James W. Foug and Associates ADDRESS: 770 Welch Road, Palo Alto, California 94304 LOCATION OF PROPERTY: Northeast corner of Pacifica Drive and Saratoga -Sunnyvale Road. ZONE: PD (Planned Development with professional offices with related general commercial intent) FIRE ZONE: 2 1. The signs on the building were adequate for the size and location of the building. 2. The property lacked the required 210 ft. of linear frontage. 3. The Planning Commission specifically stated in the zoning conditions of Resolution No. 1254 that individual free-standing ground signs would not be allowed for the individual tenants in the northeast corner of Pacifica Drive and. Saratoga -Sunnyvale. Poad.
