Agenda Item Number 7 & 8 Agenda Date September 2, 1993
Subject and Issue
Discussion of composition of the McClellan Ranch Task Force and the Stevens Creek Trail
Route Committee.
Background
At this time it is appropriate to form two working committees to implement the
recommendations of the McClellan Ranch Master Plan Committee and the recently approved
general plan. Both of these committees will have a cross-section of representation including a
member from the Parks and Recreation Commission. Based on your familiarity with these
topics, I would ask you to think about who from the community should be represented on both
of these committees. You may also want to consider whether or not you personally would like
to serve on either of these.
I would expect the McClellan Ranch Task Force to be in place for two years and the Stevens
Creek Trail Route Committee for one year.
