RESOLUTION NO. 2344
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A USE PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT
27 RENTAL UNITS IN A P (PLANNED DEVELOPMENT WITH
MULTI -FAMILY INTENT) ZONING DISTRICT.
APPLICANT: Community Housing Developers, Inc.
ADDRESS: 277 West Hedding, Suite 119, San Jose, California 95110
SUBMITTED: September 1, 1982
LOCATION: Approximately 150 ft. south of Stevens Creek Boulevard and
280 ft. east of Stelling Road
FINDINGS AND SUBCONCLUSIONS:
Approval is recommended subject to the findings as set forth on Page 1 and
subconclusions as set forth in the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting
of October 11, 1982.
CONDITIONS:
1-14. Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the
special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does
exist, the special conditions enumerated herein shall apply.
15. The approval is based upon Exhibits A, B, C and D as may be amended by
additional conditions contained herein.
16. The approval is for a 27 -unit rental development for physically limited
persons of low or moderate income. Any modification of this specific
use requires an additional use permit.
17. The applicant/developer shall obtain necessary dedication for street
purposes and shall fully improve Bianchi Way to public street standards
from the project site to Stevens Creek Boulevard.
18. The following design changes shall be incorporated into the final site
and architectural designs.
a. The southerly most trash enclosure shall be shifted from adjoining
residential property.
b. Sidewalk shall be installed along Bianchi Way from subject property
to Stevens Creek Boulevard.
c. Covered parking spaces should be 12 ft. wide.
d. Wood shingle or masonite shiplap siding material is approved.
e. The existing chain link fence adjacent to Faria Elementary School
may be retained. This will provide the new development with a view
of the open space on the school grounds. Plants (vines) may be
installed for privacy.

Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the
