OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF A USE PERMIT TO OPERATE A
2,500 SQ. FT. ELECTRONIC GAME CENTER.

LOCATION: Northwest corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Blaney Avenue
FINDINGS AND SUBCONCLUSIONS:
The Planning Commission finds the following factors render this site inappropriate
for the proposed use:
1. Close proximity to existing single-family residential neighborhood.
2. Location on a residential street.
3. Existing problems of parking and evening/late night activity generated
by existing bars and businesses within the area.
4. The site and the surrounding parking area is not highly visible to
passing police patrols nor does the site offer a comprehensive security
system.
5. As a result of the planned introduction of the ambulance facility, the
parking provided on -site may not be adequate to accommodate the proposed
use.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of August, 1982, at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission. of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the
following roll call vote:.
AYES: Commissioners Blaine, Koenitzer, Chairman Claudy
NAYS: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Commissioners Adams, Binneweg
