HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 23263-U-77 (Revised) RESOLUTION NO. 2326 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF MODIFICATION OF AN EXISTING USE PERMIT TO ALLOW AN AMBULANCE COMPANY WITHIN AN EXISTING COMMERCIAL/OFFICE CENTER. APPLICANT: AAA Ambulance Company ADDRESS: 10011 North Foothill Boulevard, Suite 101, Cupertino, California 95014 SUBMITTED: June 14, 1982 LOCATION: Northwest corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Blaney Avenue ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS AND SUBCONCLUSIONS: Approval is recommended subject to the findings as set forth on Page 1 and subconclusions as set forth in the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of July 14, 1982. CONDITIONS: 1-14. Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions enumerated herein shall apply. 15. That the approval is based upon Exhibit B-1 (Revised) of Application 3-U-77 (Revised) and the use description entitled "Part One" (Supplement) provided with the Environmental Assessment Worksheet of Application 3-U-77 (Revised) as may be modified by additional conditions contained herein. 16. Hours of operation shall be limited to 7 a.m. to 11 p,.m. with the exception that two ambulances consisting of two employees each and one dispatcher may operate on an unlimited 24 -hour basis. 17. No sirens shall be utilized at the site or immediately off the site which shall include a prohibition of any siren testing at the site. The limitation of use of sirens shall include the provision that no sirens may be utilized until the ambulance is on its way to the hospital with its occupant except where otherwise required by or regulation. 18. All conditions of Application 3-U-77 shall remain in full force and effect including the provision that no external speakers shall be permitted nor shall internally generated noise levels be emanated which exceed the dBA noise level of the human voice during a normal conversation. 19. The City recognizes the potential parking demand exceeds that normally allocated to the building area being utilized by the applicant.
