APPLICANT: Michael and Valerie McElroy ADDRESS: 22510 Stevens Creek Boulevard, Cupertino, California 95014 SUBMITTED: March 29, 1982 LOCATION: Southeast corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Foothill Boulevard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS : 1. The proposed use is incompatible with gasoline sales. 2. It will be difficult to control sales of beer and wine to minors. 3. There, is greater possibility of consumption of beer and wine on the premises or within motor vehicles. 4. There is presently a proliferation of establishments with alcoholic beverage sales within the area. 5. The subject site is contiguous to an existing residential area. 6. The site is along the route to a recreational area. 7. There are existing problems of neighborhood disturbances due to drinking, loitering, prowlers, etc. as documented by testimony of the adjoining resident:; which make the introduction of a new beer/wine sales facility inadvisable.
