HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 23845-U-83 RESOLUTION NO. 2384 OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A USE PERMIT TO ADD A SECOND STORY TO AN EXISTING SINGLE -STORY RESIDENTIAL DUPLEX. APPLICANT: John Indiveri ADDRESS: 12901 Saratoga Avenue, Saratoga, California 95070 SUBMITTED: February 3, 1983 LOCATION: North side of Bollinger Road between Alderbrook Lane and Lancer Drive at 6435 Bollinger Road, west of Miller Avenue. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FINDINGS AND SUBCONCLUSIONS: Approval is recommended subject to the findings as set forth on Page 1 and subconclusions as set forth in the Minutes of the Planning Commission meeting of March 14, 1983. CONDITIONS: 1-14. Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply. 15. The approval is based upon Exhibits A and B of Application 5-U-83 as may be modifed by additional conditions contained herein. 16. The applicant shall plant mature Evergreen trees (24" box or larger) along the northerly property line to shield the building mass from the adjoining homes. The tree planting details (number of spacing, type) shall be subject to review and approval of the staff at the building permit level. 17. The applicant is required to mitigate the privacy impacts from the second story windows. Said mitigation may encompass, relocating windows, modifying the windows to clerestory windows (minimum of 5 1/2 ft. of clearance from the second floor level), constructing wing walls or screens to shield direct views away from rear yard areas, installing obscure glass, or such other devices as may be deemed appropriate by the staff. These requirements shall not apply to the small dressing room and bathroom windows located on the east side of the building.
