REAR YARD SETBACK FOR AN ADDITION TO A SINGLE-FAMILY HOME WHERE THE USABLE REAR YARD AREA WILL BE LESS THAN REQUIRED BY ORDINANCE. APPLICANT: Ranee R. Carlson and Jeraldine Mazzurco ADDRESS: 849 Betlin Avenue, Cupertino, California 95014 SUBMITTED: December 13, 1982 LOCATION: West side of Betlin Avenue between John Drive and Clifford Drive at 849 Betlin Avenue FINDINGS: 1. The Planning Commission finds that the applicant has not demonstrated that extraordinary circumstances exist which necessitates the proposed variance. 2. There are other opportunities for adding additional living space onto the existing home. 3. The applicant has not demonstrated that the granting of the variance is necessary for preservation of a substantial property right.
