CC Resolution No. 7276 RESOIlJI'ICN NO.7276 OF THE CI'lY CXXJNCIL OF THE CI'lY OF aJPERl']Jl() AMENDING THE CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL OF APPLICATION 31-U-67 (REVISED) 'ID A:UJ::M AN INTERIM USE OF A VACANT .9 OF AN AæE PARCEL FOR PARKING OF A MAXIMUM OF 70 VEHICIFS WHEREAS, the owners of the 'Key Chevrolet auto sales facility have made a good faith effort to comply with corñitions imposed under Application 31-U-67 (Revised); am WHEREAS, said owners intern. to pursue redevelopment of the auto sales facility as approved by Application 1-U-87; THE CI'lY CXXJNCIL OOES HEREBY IDDIFY Application 31-U-67 (Revised) to approve an interim use of the vacant pa=el subject to the following corñitions: 1. All other corñitions of approval for Application 3l-U-67 (Revised) shall remain in full force am effect except as modified by the conditions stated herein. 2. Approval is granted to use the .9 acre vacant lot located west of the Key Chev=let facility for parkin:J of a maximum of 70 vehicles for a maximum period of one year (expires on August 3, 1988). 3. The property owner shall post a security suitable to the city Attorney in the amount of $50,000 guaranteeing that substantial am continuous construction will begin in order to jJ¡plement Application 31-U-67 (Revised) or Application 1-U-87, within the one year period. 4. '!he property owner shall post the security am sign am agreement, within two weeks (August 17, 1987) which defines the obligations of the property owners am stipulates that the security will be forfeited if the agreement is not adhered to. If construction is not begun, the city reserves the right to pursue any other means to ensure compliance with local laws including revocation of the use permit.
