OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF A USE PERMIT TO
CONSTRUCT TWO DWELLINGS WITHIN A P (PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT WITH SINGLE-FAMILY DETACHED INTENT)
ZONE.

ADDRESS: 10400 Phar Lap Drive, Cupertino, CA 95014
SUBMITTED: June 6, 1980
LOCATION: South side of Stevens Creek Boulevard approximately 200 ft. easterly
of Byrne Avenue
Approval is recommended subject to the findings as set forth on Page 1 and
subconclusions as set forth in the minutes of the Planning Commission meeting
of July 14, 1980.
CONDITIONS:
1-14. Standard Conditions to the extent that they do not conflict with the
special conditions enumerated herein. In the event a conflict does
exist, the special conditions as enumerated herein shall apply.
15. That the approval is based upon Exhibits A and B of Application 16-U-80
as may be amended by additional conditions contained herein.
16 In order to minimize the potential for privacy intrusion into adjoining
properties, the second story element of each building shall be designed
to limit the number of bedrooms facing south. A rear deck is permissible
if said deckd is recessed to limit east and west views and if said deck
is at least 25 ft. from a property adjoining the project site.
Architectural and Site Approval review is not necessary. The Director
of Planning and Development shall review a subsequent building design for
each structure based upon the general design guideline outlined above. .
17. Full provision for a solar domestic water heating system shall be made
for the two residential dwelling units approved under this application.
Placement of the solar collector panels shall be subject to the review
and approval of the Chief Building Inspector.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of July, 1980, at a regular meeting of the
Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino, State of California, by the
following roll call vote:
AYES: Commissioners Adams, Claudy, Johnson, Chairman Koenitzer

ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Commissioner Blaine
