Subj: Minor Modification of 23-U-74 to allow an additional reaz building exit and
handicapped ramp. 10215 S. De Anna Boulevard
Chapter 19.132 of the Cupertino Municipal Code allows for administrative approval of
minor changes to a project. The Director reports his decision to the City Council and
Planning Commission in time to allow any Councilmember or Planning Commissioner to
appeal the decision within fourteen calendar days.
Application:
,~ Minor Modification of 23-U-74 to allow an additional rear building exit and handicapped
ramp.
Description:
The applicant, E. Paul Duncan, is proposing an additional reaz building exit for a tenant
space located at 10215 S. De Anza Boulevard formerly occupied by Flair Beauty Supply
and proposed for occupation by Radio Shack. The additional access is required by the
Building and Fire Codes. The placement of the access would eliminate one reaz parking
stall which is needed to meet the pakking requirement for this multiple tenant building.
Action:
The Director of Community Development deems the modification minor and approves
the building exit with the following conditions:
Portion of front pakking lot shall be restriped to provide one additional
parking stall. This may be accomplished by converting a short row of
full-size stalls to compact parking stalls.
2. Relocate downspout of roof drain away from new building exit.
This approval of the modification is effective April 25, 1995. The fourteen calendar day
appeal period will expire on May 9, 1995.
