Cowan, Director of Community Development K~- Date: Apri125, 1995 Subj: Minor Modification of 23-U-74 to allow an additional reaz building exit and handicapped ramp. 10215 S. De Anna Boulevard Chapter 19.132 of the Cupertino Municipal Code allows for administrative approval of minor changes to a project. The Director reports his decision to the City Council and Planning Commission in time to allow any Councilmember or Planning Commissioner to appeal the decision within fourteen calendar days. Application: ,~ Minor Modification of 23-U-74 to allow an additional rear building exit and handicapped ramp. Description: The applicant, E. Paul Duncan, is proposing an additional reaz building exit for a tenant space located at 10215 S. De Anza Boulevard formerly occupied by Flair Beauty Supply and proposed for occupation by Radio Shack. The additional access is required by the Building and Fire Codes. The placement of the access would eliminate one reaz parking stall which is needed to meet the pakking requirement for this multiple tenant building. Action: The Director of Community Development deems the modification minor and approves the building exit with the following conditions: Portion of front pakking lot shall be restriped to provide one additional parking stall. This may be accomplished by converting a short row of full-size stalls to compact parking stalls. 2. Relocate downspout of roof drain away from new building exit. This approval of the modification is effective April 25, 1995. The fourteen calendar day appeal period will expire on May 9, 1995.
