Subj: Report of Director's decision regarding approval of a Minor Modification to a Use Pernut
~hapter 19.132 of the Cupertnio Municipal Code provides for administrative
approval of minor changes in projects. The Director reports his decision to
the City Council and Planning Commission in time to allow any
Councilmember or Planning Commissioner to appeal the decision

• Modifications to an approved addition on a single family residence.
Description
The Planning Commission approved an addition to an existing residence on April 8th,
which is in a Planned General Commercial Zone. The approval was to construct a 1,758
sq. R. addition to an existing home and add a 288 sq. ft. storage shed. 'The Minor
Modification would be to add 140 sq. ft. and extend an approximately 5 ft. addition to the
south elevation in the garage area.
The addition is still well within the allowed floor area ratio and meets the setbacks that
would be required of an R-1 Zoning District. Therefore, staff has no problem with the
proposed modification.
Action
The Director approves the Minor Modification.
