Noting the city's desire to maintain the population of Coast Live Oak trees, we would be willing to put two 36" box oak trees elsewhere on our property if our application is approved. Enclosed please End our check for $125 for the appeal application. Please advise on when our application would be presented to the City Council. Thank you. Due to the location of this tree between two retaining walls, it is my opinion that as this tree grows it will cause severe structural damage to the retaining walls and driveways. There is nothing that can be done as far as root pruning, etc. to prevent this damage from happening. As a certi ficd arborist f recommend the Coast Live Oak tree located at the address above be removed. ' Please call with any questions, 408.448.2525.
