This letter also confirms the decision to approve a sign exception to allow wall sign heights of36 inches and 30 inches where 18 and 24 inches are allowed on an existing office building (09-EXC-01), according to Design Review Resolution No. 67. Also, please note that an appeal of these decisions can be made within 14 calendar days of the decision. If this occurs, you will be notified of a public hearing, which will be scheduled before the Planning Commission. Mr. Gilli explained that the trees that have been selected are narrow but grow very tall and are being planted at a minimum of 5 feet apart. They will reach full height in about 3 years. Mr. ,Corr suggested planting a species of tree that will provide the type of screening that will grow tall and wide. Mr. Gilli stated that the cypress trees selected are approved screening trees according to the ordinance.
