Chapter 19.132 of the Cupertino Municipal Code allows for administrative approval of minor changes in a project. The Director reports his decision to the City Council and Planning Commission in time to allow any Councilmember or Planning Commissioner to appeal the decision within fourteen calendar days. APPLICANT Leon Burda, 22206 Quinterno Court. BACKGROUND A director minor modification is required since the project site is located in a Planned Development Zoning district. The applicant was able to obtain approval signatures from all of the homeowners in the zoning district. DISCUSSION The applicant proposes to repair and extend (3-foot) an existing second story deck facing partially the front and left side yard of the property. There will be minimal privacy impact from the deck extension since the deck already exists. In addition, the applicant proposes to extend the existing gable roof to cover portions of an existing flat roof located at the rear corner of the house. This roof extension will not result in additional habitable square footage or new second story windows. The adjacent neighbors have reviewed the plans and do not object to the proposal. ACTION TAKEN The Director approves the modification.
