SUBJECT: PLANNING CONIMISSION ACTION LETTER -Application 11-ASA-95
This letter confirms the decision of the Planning Commission, given at the regular meeting of
January 8, 1996, approving a 6 foot masonry wall according to the enclosed copy of Planning
Commission Resolution No. 4663.
Please note these conditions carefully. Subsequent submittal of materials for building permits
or other entitlements will be checked for compliance with the conditions listed in the
Resolution; discrepancies may result in processing delays. Please contact our office if you
have questions about this matter.
Please be aware that an appeal of this decision can be made within fourteen calendar days of ,
the decision. If this occurs, you will be notified of a public hearing which will be scheduled
before the City Council.

OF THE PLANNMG COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTMO APPROVMG AN
ARCHITECTURAL AND APPROVAL OF A SOLID STATIONERY FENCE SEPARATING THE
120 UMT APARTMENT COMPLEX FROM THE CORSICA AND PORTOFMO
DEVELOPMENTS LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF THE INTERSECTION OF NORTH
• DEANZA BOULEVARD AND HOMESTEAD ROAD
Condition 1: AAnroved Exhibits: Approval is granted per exhibit labeled "Plot Plan, Masonry Wall
Location" dated 12/6/95 and the elevation drawing of the proposed solid fence labeled "Corsica
Apartment solid barrier east boundary."
Condition 2: Cate I.oeation & Design: Staff shall approve the precise location and materials for
pedestrian access gates near the main recreation area, the sport court and the vehicular emergency
gates.
Condition 3: Paint Color for Wall: The final paint color for the masonry wall shall be chosen by
staff and shall compliment the paint colors for the adjoining Portofino and Corsica Homeowners
Association on the eastside of the fence. The wall color on the west side shall compliment the colors
chosen for the main buildings in the future apartment complex.
Condition 4: Deletion of "Condition 15": Should the City Council delete the requirement for access
from the Corsica/Portofino project to the recreation space for the apartment project, the pedestrian
gates may be eliminated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of January, 1996, at a Regular Meeting of the Planning
