This letter confirms the decision of the Planning Commission, given at the meeting of
October 26, 1998, approving a modification of architecture for Building 3 relative to the
addition of second story windows, according to Planning Commission Resolution No.
4969.
Please be aware that this architectural modification permit wi1l expire 2 years from the
date of approvaL
Also, please note that an appeal of this decision can be made within 14 calendar days of
the decision. If this occurs, you will be notified of a public hearing which will be
scheduled before the City Council.

RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
APPROVING AN ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE MODIFICATION TO BUILDING THREE
OF THE HONEYWELLlMEASUREX CORPORATION COMPLEX (GROSVENOR
INTERNATIONAL) SITE.
SECTION I: FINDINGS
SECTION II: CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
1. APPROVED EXHIBITS:
The application is approved based upon sheets labeled Schematic Design Building 3 -
Proposed Site Plan, Proposed First Floor Plan and West Elevation.
2. MEZZANINE AND UPPER STORY:
The upper story mezzanine and wire harness spaces, described on building three level two
of the approved amenity calculation exhibits for 2-ASA-98 dated March 2, 1998, shall be
removed.
3. TREES:
Additional trees shall be installed in the westerly landscaping area next to Imperial
A venue homes. The tree type and spacing shall reflect the existing coniferous trees
located within said planting bed. The trees shall be 24" box.

Subj: Report of Director's Decision regarding a Minor Modification.

Chapter 19.128 of the Cupertino Municipal Code allows for administrative issuance or
minor modifications of a use permit. The Director reports his decision to the City
Council and Planning Commission in time to allow any Councilmember or Planning
Commissioner to appeal the decision within fourteen calendar days.
Application:
Modification of the site plan and elevations for architectural and site control application
2-ASA-98 to relocate a 980 square foot "radiation storeroom" from a site located near the
southwest corner of the site to the loading area near building 6 & 7. Refer to the attached
site plan.
The State of California regulates and monitors hazardous matcrials contained In the
storeroom.
The building space allocation table for the entire site will be modified to reflect the
building area shift.
Action:
The Director of Community Development deems the change minor and approves the
minor modifications for the building in accordance with the enclosed revised exhibits.
This approval of the modifIcation is effective August 27, 1998. The fourteen calendar
day appeal period will expire on September 9, 1998.
