SECTION II: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the Design Review Committee of the City of Cupertino received an application for an
Architectural and Site Approval, as described in this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Desigi2 Review Committee finds that the changes are beneficial and compatible with
the surrounding area;
1. 'Tl~e proposal, at t11e proposed location, will not be detriiriental or injurious to property or
improvements in the vicinity, and will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, general
welfare, or convenience;
2, The proposal is consistent with the purposes of the zoning ordinance, and the General Plan.
3. The design will not result iia abrupt changes in building scale between the subject site and
i~eigl~iboring properties.
4. The proposal will use materials that are compatible with neighboring properties.
5, Landscaping is provided to prevent dust and erosion, and existing trees are maintained. and shall be
protected through the building permit process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:.
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this
matter, the application no. 9-ASA-Q0, is here by approved; and

1. APPROVED EXI-IIBITS
Approval is based on submitted plan sets and. accompanying material board, except as away be
amended by conditions contained within.
2. DESIGN CHANGES
Applicant shall snake the following three architectural modifications to tl~e approved plans. l.)
Extend the sills on all windows with guardrails by 12" to 16" to accommodate potted plants or
sirr~ilar landscaping. 2.) Replace stueca trim an all windows with wood trim. 3.) Add shape to the
projecting corbels.
~. PREVIOUS CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
The previous conditions of approval far application 1-U-99 shall remain effective, unless aaraended
by conditions contained within.
4. NOTICE OF FEES, DEDICATIONS, RESERVATIONS OR OTIiER EXr~C'TIONS
The Conditions of Project Approval set Earth herein may include certain fees, dedication
requirements, reservation requirements,. and ether exactions. Pursuant to Gowenuncnt Cade
Section G~i020{d} (1), these Conditions constitute written notice of a statement of the amount aI'
