SUBJECT: PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION LETTER - 23.ASA-99
This letter confirms the decision of the Planning Commission, given at the meeting of
February 14, 2000, approving the architectural review of minor modifications to the
exterior of an existing commercial building, according to the enclosed copy of Planning
Commission Resolution No.. 6002.
Please be aware that if this permit is not used within 2 years, it shall expire on February
14,2002.
Also, please note that an appeal of this decision can be made within 14 calendar days of
the decision. If this occurs, you will be notified of a public hearing, which will be
scheduled before the City Council.

APPROVING AN ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE REVIEW OF MODIFICATIONS TO AN
EXISTING COMMERCIAL BUILDING (10465 S. DEANZA BOULEVARD.)

SECTION II: FINDINGS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino received an application for an
Architectural and Site Approval, as described in this Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds:
. The proposal will not be detrimental or injurious to property or improvements in the vicinity, and
will not be detrimental to the public health, safety, general welfare, or convenience;
. The proposal is consistent with the General Plan and the Zoning Ordinance
. The proposal is harmonious with the existing site and the surrounding area
. The number, location, color, size and height of signage will minimize traffic hazards
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That after careful consideration of maps, facts, exhibits, testimony and other evidence submitted in this
matter, the application no. 23-ASA~99, are hereby approved; and
That the subconc1usions upon which the findings and conditions specified in this Resolution arc based
and contained in the public hearing record concerning Application 23-ASA-99 as set forth in the
Minutes of the Planning Commission Meeting of February 14, 2000, and are incorporated by reference
herein.

SECTION III: CONDITIONS ADMINISTERED BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPT.
1. APPROVED EXHIBITS
Approval is based on the plan set entitled "Proposed Hollywood Video" sheets SD-l, Al and A2 last
revised on January 18,2000. The video drop off box is not included in this approval.
2. NOTICE OF FEES, DEDICATIONS, RESERVATIONS OR OTHER EXACTIONS
The Conditions of Project Approval set forth herein may include certain fees, dedications,
requirements, reservation requirements, and other exactions. Pursuant to Government Code
Section 66020(d) (l), these Conditions constitute written notice of a statement of the amount of
such fees, and a description of the dedications, reservations, and other exactions. You are hereby
further notified that the 90-day approval period in which you may protest these fees, dedications,
reservations, and other exactions, pursuant to Government Code Section 66020(a), has begun. If
you fail to file a protest within this 90-day period complying with all of the requirements of Section
66020, you will be legally barred from later challenging such exactions.
