A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TFIE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ENDORSING THE 2008 UPDATE OF THE COIVII'REHENSIVE COUNTY
EXPRESSWAY PLANNING STUDY
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive County Expressway Planning Study, adopted in 2003,
provides along-term plan for the improvement and maintenance of the County Expressway
System; and
WHEREAS, the 2008 Update is the first update of the 2003 Expressway Study; and
WHEREAS, elected officials and staff from twelve cities and the Santa Clara Valley
Transportation Authority ~VTA), representatives from the CounTy Roads Commission, and the
County Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) participated in the development of
the 2008 Update; and
WHEREAS, the County Board of Supervisors intends to formally adopt the 2008 Update
following endorsement by the twelve City Councils and a public comment period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby endorses the
2008 Update of the Comprehensive County Expressway Planning Study.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 18`h day of November 2008 by the Following vote:
