WHEREAS, City staff has inspected that property commonly defined as
l0224 Peninsula Avenue, Olpertino, California; an:i
WHEREAS, numerous apparent b.ù.lding code violations were observed an:i
citations issued; an:i
WHEREAS, the chief b.ù.1ding inspector an:i the code enforcement
supe¡:visors received the finlin3s an:i determined that in their judgment
an:i as per Olpertino M..1nicipal COde section l6.44.030 the b.ù.lding is
beirç maintained contrary to provisions of section 16.44.020 of the city's
code;
NCM, ~UKE:, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Olpertino hereby declares its intent to COIX:luct a public hearirç at 6:45
p.m., McnJay, December l2, 1988 to deteDnine whether said building
constitutes a public nuisance. The hearirç shall be corxiucted in city
Hall Council Chamber, 10300 'Ibrre Avenue, Olpertino, Califomia.
BE IT FURI'HER RESOLVED that it is the City Council's intent to
cœmence abatement proceedings as provided in OJapter l6.44 of the
Olpertino M..1nicipal COde an:i that all or any part of any b.ù.lding or
structure found by the City council to constitute a public nuisance, which
is ordered to be abated, shall be abated by rehabilitation, demolition or
repair ~ to 01apter l6. 44. If not abated the same will be abated
by the City of QJpertino an:i costs will be assessed against an:i upon the
lan:i on which said b.ù.1ding is located an:i that cost shall constitute a
lien until paid.
