WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of CUpertino has received a
request for annexation of territory designated "Granada Avenue 88-10" iran
property owner, Regis R. Bohlin; an:l
WHEREAS, the property, appraximately 0.21 acre on the north side of
Granada Avenue between Byrne Avenue an:l Oral'çe Avenue (AFN 357-16-022) is
contiguous to the City of CUpertino an:l is within its w:ban service area;

WHEREAS, annexation would provide for use of City services; an:l
WHEREAS, this territory is uninhabited an:l was prezoned on June 4,
1984; an:l
WHEREAS, the City of CUpertino, as Lead Ager'cý for environmental
review cœpleted an initial study an:l granted a Negative Declaration for
annexation; an:l
WHEREAS, the County SUrveyor of santa Clara County has fooni the map
an:l description (Exhibits "A" an:l "B") to be in accordance with GoverI1Iœnt
Code Section 56826, the boun:Jaries to be definite an:l certain, an:l the
proposal to be in cœpliance with IAFcx:>'s road annexation policies; an:l
WHEREAS, the fee set by the County of santa Clara to cover staff costs
for above certification has been paid; an:l
WHEREAS, as provided in GoITermnent Code Section 56826 the City Council
of the City of CUpertino shall be conducting authority for a
reorganization including an annexation to the City; an:l
WHEREAS, Govermnent Code Section 56837 provides that if a petition for
annexation is signed by all owners of lan:l within the affected territory
the City Council mayaw=ve or disawrove the annexation without public
hearing ;

NCM, 'lHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city Council of the City of
CUpertino hereby initiates annexation prcoeeciirxJs an:l will consider
annexation of the territory designated "Granada Avenue 88-10" at their
regular meetirxJ of February 6, 1989.

All that certain real property situate in the County of Santa Clara,
State of California, more particularly described as follows:
All of Lot 49, as shown on that certain map entitled "Map of Subdivision
'A' Monta Vista", which was filed for record on April 11, 19>7 in Volume
P of Maps, Page 20, in the Office of the Recorder, County of Santa Clara,
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the most southerly line on that certain annexation
to the City of Cupertino by Resolution No. 5241 entitled, "Byrne 79-9",
said point being the northeast corner of Lot 49, as shown on said "Map of
Subdivision 'A' Monta Vista".
Thence SOUTH 90.82 feet along the easterly line of Lot 49 of said Map
to a point being the northwest corner of that certain annexation to the
City of Cupertino by Resolution NO. 3215 entitled, "Hermosa 71-15";
Thence WEST 100.12 feet, along the southerly line of said Lot 49 of said
Map, to the southwest corner of said Lot 49;
Thence NORTH 90.82 feet along the westerly line of said Lot 49, to a point
being on the southerly line of said annexation "Byrne 79-9", said point
being the northwest corner of said Lot 49;
Thence EAST 100.12 feet along said annexation "Byrne 79-9", to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
