request for annexation of territory designated ''Hermosa Avenue 88-12" fran

WHEREAS, annexation wculd provide for use of city services; an:l
WHEREAS, this territory is lD'linhabited an:l was prezoned on June 4,
1984; an:l
WHEREAS, the city of CUpertino, as lead AgerY::;y for enviromnental
review canpleted an initial study an:l granted a Negative Declaration for
annexation; an:l
WHEREAS, the County surveyor of santa Clara County has founi the map
an:l description (Exhibits "A" an:l "B") to be in accordance with Goverrnnent
Code Section 56826, the booIXIaries to be definite an:l certain, an:l the
proposal to be in canpliance with IAF<X>'s road annexation policies; an:l
WHEREAS, the fee set by the County of santa Clara to co<ler staff costs
for above certification has been paid; an:l
WHEREAS, as provided in Goverrøœnt Code Section 56826 the city Council
of the city of CUpertino shall be con:iucting authority for a
reorganization including an annexation to the City; an:l
WHEREAS, Goverrøœnt Code Section 56837 provides that if a petition for
annexation is signed by all owners of lan:l within the affected territory
the City Council may a~e or disa~e the annexation without p.mlic
hearing;

NCM, 'ffiEREF0RE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
CUpertino hereby initiates annexation proceedings an:l will consider
annexation of the territory designated ''HeDoosa Avenue 88-12" at their
regular meetirxJ of February 21, 1989.

BEING A PORTION OF LOT 55 AS SHOWN ON THAT CERTAIN MAP ENTITLED,
