Deed am Authorization" , which is in good and sufficient form,

hereinafter referred to as the "GRANTOR", this p'-U day of
/11ty , 19.11, hereby grant, bargain, assign, convey, remise,
release and forever quitclaim unto the CITY OF CUPERTINO, a municipal
corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "GRANTEE", its successors and
assigns, all the right, title, intereat, eatate, claim and demand, both at
law and in equity, and as well in possesaion aa in expectancy of the
GRANTOR as owner of that certain real property situate in the County
of Santa Clara, State of California, and opecifically described as follows:
SEE ATTACHED PLAT AND DESCRIPTION
to pump, take or otherwise extract water from the underground basin or any
underground strata in the Santa Clara Valley for beneficial use upon
the lands overlying said underground basin, and GRANTOR hereby irrevocably
authorized GRANTEE, its successora and asaigna, on behalf of the GRANTOR
and ita 6ucceaaors in ownerahip or overlying lands in the aaid lota to
take from aaid underground basin within the said lota any and all water
which the owner or owners of said overlying lands may be entitled to take
for beneficial use on said lands and to supply such water to such owner
or owners or others as a public utility: provided, however, that nothing
contained in this instrument shall be deemed to authorize GRANTEE to

enter upon any of the lots delineated upon the above described map or to
authorize CRANTEE to make any withdrawal of water which will result in
damage to any building or srructure erected upon said lots.
This assignment, conveyance and authorization is made for the benefit
of Lots within the above described plat and description and shall bind the
owner of said lots within said plat & description.

QUITCLAIM OF UNDERGOOUND WATER RIGHTS
All that real property situate in the City of Cupertino, County of
Santa Clara, State of California described as follows:
Being all of Parcels 1 and 2 as said Parcels are des=ibed in the City of
Cupertino Resolution No. 7800 which was recorded on May 23, 1989 in Book
K960 of Official Records at page 904, Santa Clara County Records.
The above des=ibed Parcels being all of Lots (Sections) 257 and 264, the
westerly 15.12 feet of Lot (Section) 258 and the westerly 15.24 feet of
Lot (Section) 265, as said Lots are shown on the Map entitled, "Map of
Inspiration Point Manta Vista", recorded April 11, 1917 in Book "P" of
Maps at page 18, Santa Clara County Records.
